Chickpea

Do you like chickpeas? Come cook them with us!
Ingredients (what you need)
pepper - black ground
2 cloves Czech garlic
1 handful parsley leaves
1 tablespoon real butter
0.5 package chickpeas
Recipe steps
Soak the purchased chickpeas in water overnight, and the next morning we can start cooking them.
Fill a pot with water and add the soaked chickpeas. We will cook them for approximately three quarters of an hour.
Towards the end of cooking, we check the tenderness of the chickpeas to ensure they are not too soft.
Drain the water.
Run to the garden for some parsley and garlic.
Wash the parsley and remove the leaves. Peel the garlic and cut about two cloves (or more) into pieces.
Transfer the chickpeas to a lower pot and lightly roast them for a few minutes. You will notice the aroma that wafts from them.
Cut off and add a piece of butter. Stir well.
Pepper to taste. Add the parsley leaves. Sprinkle in the garlic.
Gently stir. Roast for a few minutes and we can serve.
It can be served as a standalone dish, or you can bake some chicken thighs to go with it. It's up to you which meat you choose to pair with the chickpeas. Bon appétit.
