Ingredients (what you need)
500 ml black tea
150 ml apple juice
100 ml calvados
2 cloves
small piece of whole cinnamon
1 star anise
peel from 1/2 organic orange
sugar (to taste)
2 slices of lemon
Recipe steps
Thoroughly wash the orange peel and use a serrated peeler to create several spirals, which we add to the jars for better flavor.
In a pot, pour in strong brewed tea, cider, and calvados. Add cloves, star anise, cinnamon, and the remaining orange peel. Heat it almost to a boil, when bubbles start to form at the bottom, which corresponds to 80 °C, then reduce the heat to the minimum and let it steep for 10 minutes.
If we do not want alcohol in the drink, it is enough to boil it briefly, which will evaporate the alcohol and leave only a pleasant taste. Add sugar and pour into glasses garnished with a lemon slice. This drink is served to warm up in cold and rainy weather.
