Rice pudding with cream and plums
If you enjoy sweet dishes for lunch, try this delicious and tender rice pudding with plum compote. This pudding will not only fill you up but also satisfy your taste.
Ingredients (what you need)
2 bags of boiling rice
1 cream for whipping
1 plum compote
2 vanilla sugars
5 tablespoons of powdered sugar
100 g butter
3 eggs
cinnamon
grated lemon zest
fat for greasing
Recipe steps
We pour the cooked rice from the bags into a pot, cover it with hot cream, add vanilla sugar, mix it, cover it, and let it rest for ten minutes.
Meanwhile, we separate the yolks from the whites. We mix the yolks with sugar and butter, then add lemon zest and cinnamon. We fold the mixture into the rice and finally gently add the whipped egg whites.
We pour half of the mixture into a greased baking dish, cover it with plums (we can drizzle them with some juice), and then pour the rest of the mixture on top. We can sprinkle cinnamon on the surface.
We bake at a temperature of 175 °C for about 30 minutes.
